About Us
Dear Friends,
Greetings,
United Secular Society (USS) vide Regd. No - District East/Society/925/2014, is a non-profitable Society and it was registered on 5th March, 2014 under the Societies Act XXI of 1860 at New Delhi.
USS was founded by a group of senior educationists, educational entrepreneurs, intellectuals, industry executives, and policymakers with the goal of supporting the growth and quality of education in India. The association serves as a liaison between the government and institutional operators, academics and industry, the student population and beneficiary employers, and national and international organisations dedicated to the improvement of education.
United Secular Society is a non-profit autonomous nodal organisation, a catalytic Chamber, for the advancement of Indian education, including universities and educational institutions as members. It was considered that such an entity was required to boost the education industry and make it bright and dynamic. Despite more than 60 years of planned initiatives, the level of education, including literacy, access, quality, and adaptability to a demanding global context, remains far below expectations. The main objectives and activities carried out over the last nine years are briefly explained in the accompanying introduction.
In addition to being the national catalyst agency for Policy Advocacy, USS has launched on an ambitious road and has undertaken the following initiatives as its deliverable. Accreditation, certification, testing, faculty development, international links, research and development, consultancy services, India education site, exhibition, and services are among the primary activities undertaken by USS.
USS advocates with government and industry on behalf of academics for quality education delivery and employment. In the current climate, it is critical that academia, industry, and government work together to convene around a table and discuss how to address issues from inside and beyond. USS fills the gap by focusing on the education sector and putting the country's needs and achievements in place.
The members of USS's Managing Committee are looking forward to your onerous lengthy experience in the field of Education and achievements as a Promoter Member of USS.
We are confident that you will fully support the cause and associate on such a dynamic and critical subject for moving the education section forward and making it a direct associate of job creation programmes. We welcome your valuable comments and will incorporate them into the Objectives.
Regards and Thanks
Well Wisher
